78 Cards - 4 Dice

How To Play

1.
The object of the game is to get to the number 9, using card and dice combinations. After one player no longer has any cards in play, or the deck is used up, the player with the most cards in their calculation pile wins (see instructions below).

2.
To start the game
Each player receives 8 cards, and those cards are dealt face-up, so all players can see the other players’ cards. The remaining cards are placed in a pile in the center of all players.

3.
A player picks another card from the pile, and throws the dice. Based on the throw, the player must identify a combination, using a minimum of two cards, that ends in 9. If the player identifies a combination, the player must show the calculation to the other players. The player can then add those cards to their calculation discard pile.

To end the game

origin
story
GameKraft started with a simple question that wouldn’t let go:
What if learning and play could spark real joy? After years in education, and financial coaching, I wasn’t searching for a new adventure — but a quirky theory about the number nine caught my imagination. So, I began experimenting at home, using cards, dice, and handwritten notes, chasing patterns and asking myself, “So what? Now what?”

Soon, curiosity turned into our first game: GET 9—a fast, pattern-based numbers game where cards and dice help you build calculations that land on nine. When I shared the prototype, everything changed. Family and friends gathered around the kitchen table, kids jumped in with fearless enthusiasm, and adults surprised themselves by laughing and leaning in as they played. One evening, a child who “didn’t like math” grinned and said, “Can we play again?” That moment showed me: the mechanics weren’t just workable—they were genuinely fun.

I had a choice: keep it small and quiet, or build something that could last. GameKraft was born so GET 9 could live beyond my dining-room table. Our name reflects what we believe is at the heart of learning and play: there is power in play! Our mission is simple—create games that are easy to learn, fun to play, and spark creativity, social connection, and authentic learning. Whether you’re a hobby gamer, a family looking for new ways to connect, or an educator seeking playful learning tools, we invite you to join us.
